Problem with Mixxmag custom module...

  • Problem with Mixxmag custom module...

    • Hey all-

I am having a real problem getting a table to work with the mixxmag template, mod_custom in user4 position:

      www.cash2gofinancial.com

View near the bottom left in the Prepaid card area and the Our Services area: As you can see, the lists are not displaying correctly, and I can't figure it out.

We're running J1.5.8 on a 1and1 server, all updates are current.

      Any help? Thanks in advance!

      Boris

    • Thanks Kat- yeah, it's on my to-do list, but for right now I need to get this coding issue straightened out. Can you help with that?

      Thanks,

      B

    • Thanks again, Kat!

I have been over the site with a fine tooth comb, and I can't find an unclosed tag anywhere!! I see the error from the validator, but it doesn't show up in the source at all!? I know for certain that the lists in the custom module are coded correctly.

Anyways, I think I know what the problem is with that module- I think I need to assign a class to the UL tags, but I can't figure out which one to use to match up with the background of the custom module included in Mixxmag...

Any other ideas? I tried class="menu" and it looked better, but it pushed the table out of shape because the font was too big.

      Thanks for your help!!

    • Ok, MORE problems...LOL.

Sheesh, I can't win today. The "More Info" links in the Rokfeature module and the href on the thumbnails in the sliders are pointing to the wrong items, and I have been through the template and modules thoroughly and I can't figure out how to point them at the correct content to save my LIFE!

I need them to be pointing to the content items in the top menu, but they are defaulting to calls embedded in the Rokfeature setup it seems?

This has gotta be easy, but not for me...

Also, I want a vertical bar in the second column (the middle one) to separate the two content areas- you will see the 3x3 .gif I have, and it's set to 3px wide x 90% high. It displays fine in an html editor and browser by itself, but I can't make it stretch in Joomla. Once again, this has gotta be easy, but I'm totally stumped!

      Help??

    • hi again,

here is what another team member had to say...
He really shouldn't be using the HTML he is using. The WYSIWGY editor isn't the best medium for setting something up like that. He'll be better of doing floated DIVs.
