Does anyone know of a Plugin or Add-on that can shorten URLs?
Here's what my URLs are looking like now: http://www.vmwusa.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=75&Itemid=204
and I want them to be something like this: h[url]ttp://www.vmwusa.org/healthcare
[/url]
Any ideas?

if you want max SEO juice, I would recommend sh404 plugin. Its a bit challenging to get the right combo of server/plugin/joomla settings, but once it works, it TOTALLY ROCKS.
You really should think about manually setting your URLs on key pages based on search terms you can compete for. Let me know if you want a more detailed rundown.

Yes, any details you can provide would be great! I'm again, no pro web-developer/code programmer, so I'll need "elementary" rundown if you can. I would love to be able to maximize our search engine capabilities too. Right now, if you type in "VMW" in Google, other items come first before my site. I want mine to be on the top!!! if possible of course...
