    • Hello, I am trying to move a test site to a production site. I moved the joomla to the public html folder and now I have a message saying the admin password does not match. I have done this before but this time no success. Any suggestions??

    • Thank you very much Mike, the link is very helpful and answered some basic questions.

      Even before your reply I successfully reset the password for 'admin' from the front end login, and it happily accepted it for the back end. I hope other folks in the same predicament can reset the password from the front end, or have success from the post you linked to.
