MEDIA:: UPLOADING IMAGES HELP

Well i have come to dead end i just dont understand what the problem is...
1. -Using a Joomla control panel which has the "Default Sample Data installed" when i goto media manger and try to upload my images from computer. When i click on the "browse files" button nothing happens.
I cannot upload my images from computer which is making my life horrible.
2. -Using a Joomla control panel which has NO " "Default Sample Data installed" i can upload any images from my computer when clicking "browse files".
Iam just crazy out of luck or there some configuration or setting that i should adjust to let me upload my with the "Default Sample Data installed" this is just ridiculous!
Please help

Although who should i contact about my membership, because i just joined and paid in full 5days ago! As first time member,..
Membership should not be expired !
And i have credit card bill and date to prove that.
