  • Error 500 Layout 'type' not found

    • I'm getting an error when I try to create a new menu item. Joomla says:

      Error 500
      Layout "type" not found

      The only reference to this I can find on the Joomla site is from somebody who had the same problem. He says he found that some files had been missing in his installation, but doesn't say what files. I've asked for details, but haven't heard back yet. Has anybody else had this problem? Any idea where I'd start looking for the missing files?

    • You could try uploading you files again, or if you haven't gotten too far, upload the zipped RL package, extract it on the server, and start over.
