Problems with logging in front & backend!

Hi all,
I had to restore my DB after i deleted a table in the DB, after i did the restore i now can not login front or backend.
It just goes to a blank white page any ideas what would be causing this?
Any help or tips would be great

Hi,
I don't know enough about this to be sure, but I seem to recall their being a html page that is blank. Could you be redirecting through to this??

Thanks for the reply, there is only the index.php file from joomla.

- in your directory look for configuration.php in this file you will see your login user name and password.

Thanks mac for your reply, i dont see any username or password on the config file
Could you paste the heading in the config as to how it should be please?
