configuring a purchased VM theme to work with Mynxx template

I have a Virtuemart theme that I purchased before deciding to use Mynxx template. It seems that when I use my purchased theme, the login doesn't work. When I click on it, nothing happens. It works fine on all other pages. But does not work on the homepage (which is also my virtuemart product page). I was hoping there would just be a line of code to fix this. When looking through the files for the 2 themes (both Mynxx and the other) the code is so different, and I'm not sure which file to be editing.
I would really appreciate ANY advice!
