Not sure of the correct forum, been up all night. Can't install the Rocket Launcher correctly, downloaded files, extracted, FTP up, and the install page has the folowing error?
My ISP is Bizland and have succefully installed Joomla before in their control panel but I bought the versatility to get me going on a faster curve.
Please Help!...

maybe some files got lost when you uploaded the extracted files individually.
try to upload the zipped package and then extract it on your server.

- Well thanks for the reply, tried it and same thing. I have uploaded the files 5 times now. Tried deleteing them, reuploaded, etc. I need to have the site done ASAP and it is driving me crazy that I can't get anywhere. Mike or someone please help.

As Kat suggested,
Delete all the Joomla files from the root directory.
Upload the zipped Rocket Launcher, and extract it on the server through the CP, as opposed to FTPing all the files from your desktop.
The first error you received show some files are not on the server.
When you are missing files, of course it causes other errors, too.
Also make sure your hosting environment meets the minimum requirements:

Ive looked everywhere in my ISP's CP and my FTP client on how to unzip the files directly onto the server after I have uploaded it. Why would files be missing should I try to use another FTP client? This is night two on just trying to install.
After uploadeing the zip file, please advise on how to unzip to server??

As far as extracting the files on your server directly, check with your host.
With most hosts, there is an option in the CP.
(It can't be done through your FTP client).
If you cannot find it, check their support section, tutorials, or contact them directly.
Remember, when you extract the RL on your desktop, you are relying on your FTP client to transfer 5-6000 files without error.
If your connection is not rock solid, it's not uncommon for some files to be missed or become corrupted during the FTP process. - Thanks,

Now I'm getting this error after using the CP with my host to upload the files
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log.

Honestly, find a new host.
If you can't FTP the files reliably with your connection and FTP client, and you can't upload the zipped file and extract it on your server, you'll never get anywhere.
