    • Where do you specify which modules will appear when viewing articles?
      Sometimes it seems like I can view the same article and one time it will appear with out any modules and other times it will have modules on various positions.

      I can't figure out why sometimes there are and aren't but I'd like to figure this out so I have more control over what users will experience.

      Similarly, when a menu appear sometimes a menu item is expanded or not to show child items). Where do you specify if a menu is expanded or not?

    • I got some help regarding this on the joomla forums. I had to edit the modules and select items under "menu assignment".

      But there is one more thing I'm trying to figure out if its' possible. What if I want to view an article with out any modules on the left or right? For example if this is my url

      tinyurl.com/yclhtwu

      There is still a place holder on the right position where modules would be.
