RocketLauncher and local Wampserver 2.0 - Blank Page

I 'm trying a rocketlauncher install in a local wampserver 2.0 install which contains: apache 2.2.11 php 5.3 and MySql 5.1.36. I created a subdirectory named 'pcrfull' under the apache www directory.
Installed wampserver. created the DB. Unpacked the RL files to the 'pcrfull' directory. Did the rocketlauncher install (joomla 1.1.15), it went fine, loaded sample data etc. Removed the installation directory.
But, when I run preview, localhost/pcrfull I get a blank frontpage.
Been through the tutorials but they are more geared to remote hosting installs.
Any ideas? I have been through the forums but not found anything so far.

hi colin,
welcome to rockettheme.
which template is it that you are using? can you access the backend without any problems?
if so, please go to > site > global configuration > server > and set "error reporting" to maximum.
then check if you get error messages when refreshing the frontpage and paste them here for us.

I did as you suggested and looks like I have errors!

hi again,
it seems that 2 of the extensions need to be updated to the latest version to work with your version of php. please update rokbox and rokweather and your site should be fine.

I updated rokbox fine.
Updated rokweather which in turn seemed to want an updated rokmodule, which I did.
Now getting this error
Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in C:\wamp\www\pcrfull\modules\mod_rokweather\googleweather.class.php on line 231
So what is CURL, and how would I get that for a local install?

Yes, sorted thank you. Seems that in my local site there were several .ini files that had the curl dll commented out. Uncommenting the first didn't work, so I did a couple of others and that finally did the trick. Also needed new rokstocks too because that also had a php 5.3 fix so that works too now.
