Sites Having Issues With PHP 5.3

    • Hey everyone, I know this is officially a joomla.org specific post, but I typically get better answers here so I thought I'd try here first.

I have had several of my RocketTheme Joomla sites, I don't use any others, suddenly have menu items and such disappear from the back end. They show up in phpmyadmin, just invisible in the back end.

In addition, I also used one of your free templates, Afterburner I think, on 2 websites, and that one the whole front page has completely disappeared, though I can log into the back end directly. The menu items missing there also.

My question is, does anyone know if there is a quick fix for this? Or is there an easy way to possibly set an apache server back to php 5.29 or whatever would make sense to do?

    • Since you mentioned the issue happens on the backend, I think it's not related to the template. May I know whether you have the same issue on the fresh Joomla installation? Are you using WHM/cPanel?

    • I think if you use the latest version of Joomla 1.5.15, it should be compatible with php 5.3. Could you please check and confirm?
