I use Start Logic as my host, and have tried to install the Joomla Quantive template through the Extension Manager in my site. I keep trying to upload the .tar bundle file and I keep getting the following message: (There was an error uploading this file to the server).
This is the bundled template package for Quantive that you install into Joomla - Admin → Extensions → Install/Uninstall. In contains both the template and the Gantry library.
Do NOT use this package if the Gantry library has already been installed, either through a bundle package, or through a standalone Gantry install.
Upgrading
To update your template, either download the latest template packages from the download section and replace your template, or if you have made customizations, a listing of the changed and added files and directories is listed below:

Standalone:
This is the standalone template package for Quantive that you install into Joomla - Admin → Extensions → Install/Uninstall. In contains just the template.
Use this package if Gantry has already been installed, whether by a previous bundle install or separate independent Gantry install. Gantry is required for the template to work.

I am trying to upload the bundle package since I don't have the Gantry library installed.
I downloaded the file using Safari and got a .tar file which I then attempted to install through the backend of my site unsuccessfully. I would get an error message stating that the file could not be uploaded. I also downloaded the file using Firefox and got a .tar.gz file. Installing that file gave me the following message:
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log.
I contacted Start Logic and they can't figure out why the file will not upload.
