    • I can't get the login button to do anything (on the non-admin side)

I enabled the login module, and the k2_login module, and don't know what else to check

The login button's URL is set to "#"

    • hi there,

      1. you need to have both rokbox plugins installed and enabled.
      2. in your template parameters > fetaures > set "login panel" to on and use header-b position
      3. in your module manager find "mod_login", publish it, assign it to all pages and set "module position" to "popup"

      that should work.

    • Thanks for you answer, but it didn't work. I followed your instructions exactly!

      I installed "both" rokbox plugins:
RokBox system and RokBox content. Are these the ones you meant? There are more than 2 RokBox plugins on the RokBox page...
      2. in your template parameters > fetaures > set "login panel" to on and use header-b position

Done! (The login button shows up on the page)
      3. in your module manager find "mod_login", publish it, assign it to all pages and set "module position" to "popup"

      Done!

But when I click on the button, nothing happens!

    • hi again,

could you disable the openID plugin to see if that will help?

    • Don't feel alone... I have same issue. Going to reinstall joomla and Quantive template from scratch.

    • Hi Kat,

I'm attempting to install the Quantive Rocket Launcher. Have some difficulties as I've not read instructions or found any yet. I just uploaded everything "as is" from the master download folder. I was thinking that the "Login Button" issue may be resolved by installing the Rocket Launcher...We'll see...If I can get that far. Ha! My ISP's server is running Linux. I'll let you know.

    • I just did a "clean" install of the Quantive Rocket Launcher, and when loading my web site for the first time, I got this...
      "PLEASE REMEMBER TO COMPLETELY
      REMOVE THE INSTALLATION DIRECTORY.
You will not be able to proceed beyond this point until the installation directory has been removed. This is a security feature of Joomla!.
Click here when the directory has been removed."

I have deleted prior MySQL tables and I did rename the configuration.php-dst file to configuration.php, prior to my web site call.

Is this my problem? Did I make a mistake somewhere along the line? Hmmmm.... I know it's gotta be operator error here, but I'm miffed. Has anyone else installed this successfully?

    • Okay... I renamed the configuration.php file back to configuration.php-dst, and recalled my web site... Now everything is working perfectly, and the "Login Button" now works!!!!

So now we know the login button works... So the issue must be the extensions are not installed properly or something, from a regular install.

I'll keep working on this and see if I can do a "clean" regular install and everything to get the "login button" to work. :)
