template installation problems

Hi,
I hope someone can help me with my issue.
I installed Joomla, installed some templates, but unfortunately the background of Dominion (Crystalline as well) looks like this: http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/8676/dominion.jpg
I tried different installations of Gantry (separately and a bundle version) and different browsers, but the problem still remains.
Default Joomla templates and for example Infuse are OK.
Although these are my first steps in web-design, I tend to believe that this layout is not normal

Hello,
Have you tried using a rocket launcher? It contains all the content and setup as our demo templates. It even installs just like joomla! make sure you click install sample content.

glad this is working for you now.
whenever you use the rocketlauncher make sure that you also install the sample data, otherwise you will have to face all sorts of issues.
