how to config joomla to reduce connect numbers

Dear All
I have one joomla + rocket them website ( chungtai.hkseodesign.com )
when i open my website about 3 mins, my hosting server will blocked my IP.
my hosting company done some test for me. they have try to open your website with the popular broswer like Firefox/IE. The connection between the client to the server will jump to 30-50. (Depends on the cache in the broswer) That mean my website will required about 50 connection to the server at once. If over 300 connection to the server at once , server will blocked this ip address. This is really unusual and also the will makes my visitor tirgger the firewall blocking issue.
anyone to tell me, how to config my joomla to reduce connection time in once?

This is a problem found all over the place in J!, if you look at the source every including or img which start with http:// will be handled as an external http request
. One thing you could check on is in the configuration.php, $live_site should be blank (if >= Joomla! 1.5)
