Grunge - Problem with background color

Hello,
i want to change the background color behind the date (Wednesday, July 14,2010) of the template grunge.
This image is hidden for guests.

i found the position of the color-code in this file : "templates/rt_grunge_j15/css/css-d59b2307891888aac7dc713ebfbd84b1.php"

my question is, am i allowed to edit this .php file?
i tried to change it and it worked. but a few minutes later the color changed back?! hope you can help me.

welcome to rockettheme.
please disable the rokgzipper plugin or any other css compression tool. then you will see the original uncompressed css files that you can edit as needed.
