Grunge template - Rockstories cutting off text

Hi,
I posted this a few days ago in another category of this forum but no answer was forthcoming. So I thought I'd try here.
I have a Rockstories module in a Grunge template that is trimming off text in IE8 and 9. About 1 character is being cut off on the right hand side. Also, the readon button is being pushed up past the last line of text.
This is not an issue in any other browser. I've tried adding padding to <span class="feature-desc"> as well as margins on either side. I've tried using a fixed width in each of the elements contained in the header. I've tried wrapping the intro paragraph in a separate div.
I find it hard to believe that I'm the only one with this issue.

I think the problem here is you have defined your Document Compatibility Mode as "emulating IE7".
From your HTML source files ->Whereas if you defined it as "Edge" it would render in IE8 standards mode and look as it does in FF:<meta http-equiv="x-ua-compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7"/>
where Edge mode tells Internet Explorer to display content in the highest mode available. With Internet Explorer 8, this is equivalent to IE8 mode. Future proofing from MicroSoft<meta http-equiv="x-ua-compatible" content="IE=edge"/>

- Well it's not in the index.php file of Grunge so something externally must be writing it in. Did you use Ninja Site Styler? Other than that I would check out the Ninja forums.

Hi DanG
The only Ninja I'm using on the font end is Shadowbox. Perhaps the easiest thing to d then is to switch to Rokbox instead. I'll check it out. Thank you very much I appreciate it.
One ore thing that's been bugging me and I can't find the answer, if you have a minute. I need to remove the "Designed by" and "Powered by" text and images. I've tried stipping the entire footer module out of the template/index.php. I've turned off Footer Positions in Gantry. Nothing seems to work. I've dug into \language\en-GB as well as the pagination.php.
Can't find it.
I've asked this twice in other threads and although I'm a paying member of this forum I've received no help whatsoever. I've even written a letter of complaint.
So any hints there will be appreciated...really appreciated.

Perhaps you have a per-menu configuration?
It's of on other pages than home.

- I went through each menu item individually, turned them off where they were on, cleared browser cache and they're still there. Made sure the default is turned off too. Still there.

You could remove these two files from the features folder of your template.
branding.php
copyright.php
But you also send me Superadmin-login via PM if you want me to take a look ...
