How to Turn off the Gantry Menu in Quasar?

QUESTION: How do you trun off the default menu in Quasar?
I would like to replace the Gantry menu in Quasar with a RokNavMenu; however i can't find a way to turn off the default menu in the template settings.
I did see in the Quasar demo that there is supposed to be a Menu section in the Template's Gantry control panel; however, that section does not appear in my version (Version 1.5.3). I see:
Presets, Settings, Features, Layouts, iPod/iPhone, Advanced - Robert Holzler
