    • Hello,

      I wanna use Grunge for a bilingual website using Joomfish.

      I just made my french version... all is ok !

      ...but I don't know where to find "You are here" ("Vous êtes ici" in french) to translate it.

      I can't do that with joomfish and I didn't find it in a language file.

      I need your help !

      Thx a lot

      Olivier

    • Hi there,

      Go to this file - rt_grung_j15/html/breadcrumbs/default.php

      The code you are looking for is on line 4
      <?php // no direct access
      defined('_JEXEC') or die('Restricted access'); ?>
      <div class="breadcrumbs">
      <span class="sep">YOU ARE HERE</span>
      <?php for ($i = 0; $i < $count; $i ++) :

      If this resolves your problem then please edit your first post by adding SOLVED at the start of the title and then select the green tick icon. This lets the moderators know that it can be moved to the solved section.

      Thanks for your cooperation :)

    • Thanks for your quick answer !

      I just saw that I've ever found it to translate it into french !!!

      ... I still have a problem !

      I would be great if in all your templates, it was a variable associated with a language file instead of a fix value. (I hope my english is not to bad and that you can understand me).
      In this case, a file in every langage we need would resolve the problem.

      I'm sorry but I don't know if it's easy to do...

      Thx again for your help !

    • Hi there,

      I haven't tried this yet but it might work.

      Try changing line 4 of that code with this...
      <span class="sep"><?php echo JText::_( 'BREADCRUMB_LABEL'); ?></span>

      Then edit the breadcrumbs language file in Joomla langauges folder - en-GB.mod_breadcrumbs.ini - so that you add your translation at the end...
      # $Id: en-GB.mod_breadcrumbs.ini 11394 2009-01-05 15:28:11Z kdevine $

      # License http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html GNU/GPL, see LICENSE.php
      # Note : All ini files need to be saved as UTF-8 - No BOM

      A TEXT SEPARATOR=A text separator
      MOD_BREADCRUMBS=<em>mod_breadcrumbs</em>
      BREADCRUMBS=Breadcrumbs
      PARAMSHOWHOME=Show/Hide the Home element in the Pathway
      PARAMSHOWLAST=Show/Hide the last element in the Pathway
      PARAMHOMETEXT=This text will be shown as Home entry
      PARAMSHOWCOMPONENT=Show/Hide the Component element in the Pathway
      SHOW HOME=Show Home
      SHOW LAST=Show Last
      TEXT FOR HOME ENTRY=Text for Home entry
      TEXT SEPARATOR=Text Separator
      THIS MODULE DISPLAYS THE BREADCRUMBS=This Module displays the Breadcrumbs
      BREADCRUMB_LABEL=Your Text Here

      If you try this please remember to take a backup first and keep a safe copy of the files as I have not had time to see if this works.

      You may need to make this change in the FR version.

      Hope this helps 8)

    • Mind that if you try to translate using all capital letters with latin characters it might not work. You should make your translation with normal case and the template will override to all caps.
      I have tryed "VOCÊ ESTÁ AQUI" and was not showing "Á" well.
      Then i tryed "Você está aqui" and all went ok.
