Does RocketTheme menu use CSS or javascipt?

Posted 16 years 6 months ago
    • Hi!

I'm not a coding/html pro 8) so may be someone out there could help me with my little question.
      So the question is:

How the 'topmenu' in Rocketheme templates is being created?
Is it CSS-only (direct SEO-friendly HTML links), or is there some javascipt involved (javascript SEO-unfriendly links) ????
I mean RocketTheme top menu options such as these used in Versatiltiy II: 'suckerfish' 'supersucker'.

In example I have a site of mine: www.casinoportal.ru . It's left menu is pure CSS-based. No javascript. It is very good for SEO in my opinion.

And I have another fresh site: monstersgamblers.ru . It utilises RocketTheme template, with a 'suckerfish' topmenu. Sooo is this cool-looking top menu a safe-CSS or there is some javascript involved ? ? ? :-[

    • All the RT templates are SEO friendly. You may be aware of the Transmenu which uses javascript and is not SEO friendly, our version is MooMenu which is fully crawable by search engines :)

Basically, the menus use CSS and PHP to function and MooMenu has added JS effects but is still CSS based :)

    • oh. I've got a new question about Versatility II suckerfish menu! :-[

      Look at this again please:
      monstersgamblers.ru/
My top suckerfish menu consisits of 7 buttons, and 3rd button have 4 sub menu items now.

      My Situation:
I have found that toolbar's sub menu item's WIDTH is limited by some pixel value. In case of sub menu item Name exceeds this fixed pixel value, then this sub menu item becomes a crappy 2-liner.
I made it visible for You -- jsut looka at 2nd sub menu item.

      My question IS:
      Where can I edit toolbar's suckerfish sub menu item's WIDTH ? ??
