      I looked in the template index.php code and I found this:

      <link href="/templates/rt_afterburner2/favicon.ico" rel="shortcut icon" type="image/vnd.microsoft.icon" />

      So the location where I'm supposed to put my favicon is /templates/rt_afterburner2/favicon.ico and is what I made but after cleared Joomla cache + browser cache I still unable to see my favicon. I tested with different browser but no change.

      Furthermore when I place my favicon, I noticed the above code is present twice in the page:

      - 1 time just after the Title page tag
      - 1 time just before </head>

      and this is not supposed to happen. I tried to remove the code from index.php and the tag is now present only 1 time but favicon still not displayed.

      Finally I noticed on your own demo, no reference to favicon is present in your code. You can look by yourself: demo.rockettheme.com/joomla/afterburner2/

      I don’t' know if you removed the code intentionally or not. I seen you use Rokbooster and at my side I tested with Rokbooster enabled or disabled but always no change. This is frustrating because before I used Clarion and my favicon was well displayed... I know favicon are sometime not well handled according to browser used but something is strange especially the fact to get 2 favicon reference when favicon is added in /templates/rt_afterburner2/.

      any suggestions ??

    • upload the favicon.ico file to the root Joomla folder.

      I have already do that without any change...

      However could you tell me why when favicon is uploaded in /templates/rt_afterburner2/ the related favicon tag is present 2 time instead to only one ?? This seem to me not normal... As I said if I remove the favicon code from index.php, the tag is present 1 time in the source.. That mean the favicon tag is present in some other file than index.php...
