RokSprocket v2.1.0 does not save changes

Posted 10 years 10 months ago
    • If i just “save” new content in RokSprocket Module v2.1.0 changes will be shown on the website - if i close the module and open it again - changes are gone!
It does not matter if i try to make changes and save an existing module or create a new one.

I do use RokSprocket Module v2.0.6 on another website - where i do not have these problems.

Meanwhile i found out, that after log-out and log-in changes are back. I am confused.

    • hi there,

which content provider are you using, is it 'simple'?

please feel free to post your site link and super admin details into the 'secure' tab of the reply screen. then our team can take a closer look at your site.

      thanks, kat :)

    • Hey!

      Simple provider is set.

It does not matter what I change!

      Exactly it is like this:

I open the module, make a change, save, and look on the website to see the change. It is there.
I close the module and open it again… changes are gone. Website still shows the change!

I have to log out and log in to backend… “only then” module shows the changes -- BUT not always. Sometimes changes are lost.

    • It is quiet immpossible to work with it.
Unfortunately it can happen, that you lose a lot of work, suddenly!

    • hi again,

the devs have added a fix for this issue to the upcoming sprocket update.
there are some other minor issues caused by the joomla update to 3.2.3 which we also want to add.
i believe the update will be ready in the next 2 days.

    • Is there a patch we could download until the update comes out? This is holding up a site I need done by tomorrow. I'm sure I'm not the only one needing this ASAP. Thank you.

    • It is terrible... cause sometimes it works fine... but then suddenly all changes are lost!
Unfortunately this way we lose time and money.
We please you to give us an update or any other information!
