Re: SOLVED RokSprocket JSON Error (Invalid JSON for params)

Please do not post extensions/template specific questions in the "Free stuff" forum. You should post in the extension forum or template forum as appropriate. Most of these forums are for members who have a current PAID membership. Our priority is always to assist paying members.
Thank you for your understanding.
Your membership appears to have expired?
Most likely cause for this are:
1. using things like sh404sef that are redirecting the urls on the json calls (try disabling sh40sef or any other SEF redirection extension that you are using.
2. not having www and non-www working on your domain.

The extension is FREE, support (from RT) is not - our priority is to provide support to our paying members.
I can only suggest now that your ensure that all RT products are up-to-date and try to narrow down what item within the roksprocket is causing the issue by disabling the items one at a time.

Each roksprocket has a "provider" that determine where the item within the roksporcket are sourced - e.g. joomla, k2, zoo, simple etc etc. Let's assume that you are using a joomla provider - so each item in the roksprocket will be an "article" - I am suggesting that you unpublish articles selectively to see if it's one article within the roksprocket causing the issue.

Ok I appreciate your clarification, so in my case, as I am using EasyBlog, you suggest I unpublish some of the blogs in the list to see if it is one of those that is conflicting? Did I understand that correctly?

yes, correct.
You can also change the number of items presented in each display to see if the issue only occurs on the "page change".

Hmm, I notice that the error kicks in in the backend with the following msg:
Error while retrieving the Filters DataSet:
Invalid JSON for params
It kicks in before even selecting any particular blogs. So I suspect that it is not linked to a particular blog post. It happens both when attempting to load more and when trying to toggle between tags in front end... and it happens both the moment I select easyblog in backend and click on the load more in backend.
Do you still think it is related to blog posts? or do you have another suspicion. Any tips for where to look would be greatly appreciated.

yes it could still be one blog.
I checked and we have no other easyblog related tickets outstanding for roksprocket that could affect this.
Sorry, I'm out of suggestions now.
