SOLVED Why background image cannot be removed from gallery module?

- You will need to edit the rt_graffito-custom.css file they are all located in there!

I have followed the suggestions in this post and others here on the same subject to remove the gray box from my picture slider in roksprocket but none of the changes seem to make any difference.
I am using the hadron template and the path to the custom file is: /templates/rt_hadron/css/rt_hadron-custom.css
Can anyone see what could be wrong here?
The custom css file looks like this:
