once you're logged in you'll see the module on the front page that illustrates the problem.

This happens more often than not. I'm assuming you installed the Acacia template on an existing site. At some point you added the RokCandy extension.
The issue is the Acaia RocketLauncher inserts custom macros just for the template that don't come with the generic RokCandy extension.
It's working now as I added this macro for you:
[span class="{class}"]{text}[/span] = <span class="{class}">{text}</span> -
