Roksprocket Article Link options

    • I have Roksprocket installed on a client's website. We use it to show a slide show on the home page. Some of the slides link to articles on the site. Right now, it seems the only way to make that happen is to copy the URL in the front-end and then paste that in the Custom field. While that mostly works, it's kludgy. Does Roksprocket have the ability to choose from a list of articles from within the module?

When I click on the Link button, I see what's in the screen shot.

      Is that all there is?

    • Please do not post extensions/template specific questions in the "Free stuff" forum. You should post in the extension forum or template forum as appropriate. Most of these forums are for members who have a current PAID membership. Our priority is always to assist paying members.

No it doesn't - but you seem to be using "simple" data provider - if you want to link to joomla articles then really you should be using "joomla" provider in the roksprocket - then "default article link" would be going to the correct place. You can still key in the content into the roksprocket as you have done in the "simple" provided if you like - it's just that you'll get the automatic pickup of the link instead of having to search for the link. Also, The joomla provider does have article selection for picking the articles in the roksprocket in the first instance.

      Regards, Mark.
