Another solution isĀ loading your video with a javascript tool like Rockzoom (there are a lot available) but playing with background (define a dark background with no transparency). It's already possible to embed Youtube videos, images, webpages, etc. If you have to use the player available with hyperion, I think it's possible to modify the code of the plugin that load the module.
Hi to all.
Soprry if my question might seem naive, but I'm quite new in joomla.
I have a problem with YouTube and the Hyperion custom module "Recent Videos":
I did as the tutorial says, but the video doesn't play.
Here is the script in the vide.xml file:

YouTube test

Trying to put a video form Youtube

thumbs/VII_ed.jpg
<data></data>

Thanks, I just went through the Hyperion tutorials, but the only thing I've found is this:
Another way to do this is to use a third party service to host and stream your video files. Some of these third party services are "You Tube"and "Blip Tv and there are many others. Your third party service will need to use the FLV format for there videos. The advantage of using a third party service like these is that they provide you with admin and usually convert the videos to the flv format. All you need to do is get the path from them.
