Help me, Problem editing and error message page showing

Dear all experts
I need help in editing the template on my site. When editing on the articles, I only change like the content but not change the path. But when it shows, an error page message saying it cannot find the path. can you help me what did I did wrong ? The tutorials are just so basic that it does not cover edditing the page or modules in more detail.
