    Chage logo in afterburner template

Posted 15 years 6 months ago
    • Hello
I tried to edit the logo (light4.png) in fireworks 4 and when I double click on the logo text nothing happens.
      How can I solve it?
      Bye

    • Are you using this tutorial and have you tried editing with a newer version of Fireworks? demo.rockettheme.com/free/afterburner/tutorials/logo-editing

    • I know this must be easy, however, I am missing it. I have downloaded and am using Fireworks 4 as per the tutorial (yes, I've read it). I am using Style 3 dark. Am I correct in thinking that I need to edit the dark3.png? or is it another one of the dark pngs? or ? I tried to find the afb-sprite.png file as per the tutorial and I can't find that file (where would that be?).

Any help would be truly appreciated at this point.

      Regards,

    • Hello Sam,

What you need to do is download the Afterburner Source zip where the template is downloaded.

Unzip and open the file inside (afb-sprite.png) with Fireworks
Edit the logo part of the sprite and export the entire image and rename it the style you are using.

      Follow the tutorial:

    • Apparently being in a hurry didn't help. Very easy once I downloaded the source files (lesson learned, slow down  ) Thank you for taking the time to answer my post so quickly. Much appreciated.
