Hello guys
As you noticed K2 is not very well documented and we like like so much afterburnerspeed that we would like to make it suitable for k2 styling.
As we found out we would like to integrate it the way you did it in Affinity.
to do it we plan to use
/templates/afterburner/html/com_k2/templates and add the blog subdir templating directory in it.
On top of that we will include the affnity k2.css into after burner css.
Do you think it ll work for K2 element styling or we may need to look further.
Thanks to give a kind of short roadmap in order to integrate successfully K2 into Rocket templates.
Many thanks for your support
Currently Afterburner has no K2 styling within the template itself. I am not sure if you have tried but installing K2 into afterburner might look ok with its default white styling. You may wish to modify certain areas to blend it better with afterburner.
Beyond this we also have a large developer/market community with would be willing to help further the customization to k2 for your website.
I have just tested the RokNavMenu extension and it works great in default afterburner. You might need to adjust the CSS to meet the needs of your current site. However it will work fine
thanks sean but oiur goal is to integrate fusion menu in afterburner. Rockanav is ok , we did it :
www.iis-madagascar.com
but what we would like to to do is to downsize moxy css in order to make it almost as fast as afterburner
thanks sean
Do you think then that it would be easier to optmize moxy getting rid of whatever we do not need into tipography.css and other thing we are not using. The purpose being to be as fast as possible !
thanks for advice
anyhow we just download k2.2 which seems to be promising- we will keep the community updated about that.
Not a problem. I think it should be pretty safe to say that if you borrow from moxy into afterburner it should retain most if not all of its speed bonus. the real key to afterburner is the simplicity of the design and the single image for the site. CSS additions should only slightly increase the size of the css file upon load.
