Quasar - Tob Tab change colors

I've changed the backgrounds on the template, and on the left side of the top tab still shows black and can't figure out how to get rid of it. I've changed the colors in the file toptab-l.png but still doesn't work. I've also looked at the style2 css file, and changed background colors in the toptab section to match, but still no go.
Can someone tell me what I'm missing here please? Thanks,
