hello
is there anyways to have a sidebar-content-sidebar setup? I know there is an option for 3 sidebars, but i believe they all need to be on the same side. I essentially would like to modify and have a left, right sidebar with content.
Any help would be appreciated
Also is there anyway to make the sidebars smaller, i didn't see anything in the CSS, unless I am blind and wasn't looking in the right place.

Hello,
Yup you can set up gantry to so "sa-mb-sb" layout. In the Main Body positions area select "3" and then drag the slider until you see the sa-mb-sb layout appear.

anything on the css as to changing width of sidebars etc?
Best way is to take make use of grid formation of gantry to adjust width
You can change in grid values in gantry css file but again they would be overridden while you update gantry in future - Quick tips::
1) Clear your browser cache if changes dont reflect
2) Provide link to your site to help us help you better
3) Use in firebug

Exactly. Since Ganty is designed on the 960 grid system any update or change to your core gantry css will be overridden in future updates to the system. Also changing the width of different gantry core elements might effect template layout with undesired results.

thanks for the replies. I got what I needed, the only issue I come down to now is the 3 column layout of SA MB SB works well, but when I have two column MB SA, the sidebar is a bit too wide, for my liking, that is where i wanted to change the width a bit, but it doesn't seem possible.
I can get SA of 9/3 on 2 column layout, but would like the 3 to be 2 so the side column is a bit smaller. anyway to do that easily?

Yup you can via the same interface. Select "2" and then drag the slider until you reach your 9/3 layout and hit apply.

I think I'm having the same situation. I use SA|MB|SB most times, but for Jomsocial I can only use SA|MB but it doesn't allow MB to freely extend into an EMPTY SB...

The problem is i want 10/2 as my column width and it doesnt seem to be available as an option 9/3 seems to be the smallest width available. I do see the 9/3, sorry for the confusion. The right column on two column is just too large for me.
Where exactly in the gantry css can i edit this? (yes i know it will change with updates)
