Quasar Link Color Problem

- I am using the quasar template in my phpbb 3.0.8 site and am having problems with the link color changes. When I make the changes on the Quasar module, it changes the Style to Custom and when I submit it, the site is all gray with a gear logo. The link color changes to the color that I want, but the whole style messes up and shows the gray and gear logo at top. Any ideas why?
