    Parse error: syntax error

    • New install of WP and when I activate the theme I am getting the following:

      Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /...../htdocs/wp/wp-content/plugins/gantry/core/gantry.class.php on line 189

      My server has PHP 4.4.7 and MySQL Version 5.0.45.

      The default template seems to work ok.

      Any Ideas?

    • The error is because of PHP 4.4.7.

      PHP version has to be 5.2x.

      If you can't change it through your host's CP, ask them to do it for you.
