Do WordPress themes have similar options to Joomla templates

I have been a member of the Joomla Template club for or 4 years now, and love the felxibility, support and choices i have with your templates. I have a need for a WordPRess template now, and before joining the WordPRess Theme club wanted to know if the same kinds of options are available:
1. RokSprocket for setting up slideshows
2. control of changing colors for specific pages
3. does the RocketTheme control extend into the sidebars/widgets
4. is there a WP equivalent of the custom css file?

Yes on all accounts... one of the beauties of having the centralized Framework of Gantry
In fact, WordPress has NO concept of Module Positions like Joomla does... you have a header, footer, and sidebar only in normal WordPress... thanks to Gantry, you get all those positions and flexibility in WordPress... I personally wouldn't build a non-blog site in WordPress without Gantry
