No reply ?? probably due to time issue ( i live in switzerland/europe )
here are 2 pics of my update problem between joomla/Rockettheme-gantry/
Hello,
I am trying to update gantry framework 3.1.4 to 3.1.10
I installed the bundle release of RocketTheme( rt_panacea_j15 version 1.5.5 + joomla 1.5.22 )
and all went fine till i tried to update Gantry's framework.
My actuel unresolved issues : With the joomla Ext/install
Jinstaller says: not possible to copy selected file : .../tmp/install_.....cd8/./gantry-ajax.php
to... / components/com_gantry/gantry-ajax.php
also indicates it cannot delete the selected files : "index.html" ; "CREDITS.php": "CHANGELOG.php" With FTP
tried to change permissions , without success
Before trying to update, i could access to Gantry's parameters but it would warn me : these scripts could not proceed:
http: // .../ components/com_gantry/js/mootools.js:209
sometimes also showing js:354
sometimes also showing js:270
sometimes also showing js:329
Now on the backend i can't access the template "rt_panacea_j15" parameters anymore , and
on my frontend site it says : Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/www/2b9efa02e051c95b2f27f263a2b65bd9/web/fmc2/components/com_gantry/core/gantry.class.php on line 976I would really appreciate some HELp
Thank you

You have a ownership issue here. I tried setting your "Enable FTP Layer" to YES but couldn't as I get an Configuration.php is Unwritable. So see if you can get that file to a permission of 644 and then enable the FTP layer and see if that helps.
You should also talk to your hosting provider to get them to change to open_basedir to none or at least make sure that it is set for the same value in your Global Configuration tmp setting.
