Embedding etracker in Gantry template

I would like to embedd etracker (instead of Google Analytics) into the gantry based template Panacea. Does anybody has experience with this?
I would assume to somehow tweak the gantry feature for Google Analytics and put the etracker code in there (maybe simpler than adding a new feature). Is this correct or is there anything special that I need to take into account?

Hi Joerg,
I realize you posted your question a couple of years ago and have either given up, already found a solution or moved on. However, I will post a solution I found for the benefit of others who may have the same problem that you and I have had:
I found one way to get the etracker code to display correctly on a Rockettheme Joomla site is to install "Phoca - Google AdSense Easy". It is a free extension that I found in the Joomla extension directory. I have tried it on Joomla 1.5 and 2.5 sites and it works fine. You just paste the etracker code in the space where the module asks you to paste the adsense code. For what it is worth, I'm not affiliated with Phoca.
