    • I have a blank site when loading rt_gantry

      installed for joomla 1.6.3
      rt_gantry bundle
      latest gantry version as of 04/27/11


      installed with no hitches
      yet when i go to load rt_gantry as master and issue menu assignments, completely blank site shows on frontend. page source - blank also


      Im also running a few of gk tools (gavick) on the same web site (modules)
      and a template based off the gavick's new gavern framework (gk_penguinmail)

      demo: d3v.clanhq.net/rgf16 -wont be pull up much there thou, as i mentioned earlier page source-blank

      steps taken
      -disabled all modules - no luck
      -physically removed existing (gk_penguinmail) template via ftp - no luck
      -disabled as many plugins as i could find , pretty much everything but System - Gantry and System - RokExtender
      -installed rt_tachyon (another gantry based template) - no luck
      - joomla caching disabled
      - tried to access via d3v.clanhq.net/rgf16/index.php (added. index.php at the end of url - no luck

      gantry
      Component -enabled
      Library -enabled
      Template -enabled
      Plugin -enabled

      im going to stop disablign stuff before i make matters worse.

      I could really use your help. I was hoping to compare Gantry to Gavern (Joomla 1.6 Gavick Framework),

      hi there,

      i just tried to replicate this issue locally but i am not getting a blank page.
      on which pages do you get that blank page, on those that have rt_gantry_j16 assigned to them or other or all? is rt_gantry_j16 set as default or not? i tried all scenarios without being able to replicate this error.

      if you like send me your link and super admin details via pm to take a closer look.

      also, is this a default joomla 1.6 install or has this site been migrated from a 1.5 site? if so it might be related to some bugs of the jupdate extension, in that case try if you get the same issue on a default 1.6 install too. it seems that setting up things from scratch fixed the issue for the op.
