    • Depending on your versions, you could try checking in the user filtering options in the user management or in the article options.

    • I'm using Joomla! 1.7.3;

      I found the "Text Filters" option in the Article Manager, and changed the Super Users to "No Filtering." (for others' reference, in future troubleshooting)
