Gantry Issue with MageBridge (Yireo)

We are currently using Modulus template and are trying to set a MageBridge page to use a specific modulus template/preset. Our template works perfectly otherwise, but when set in magebridge to use the specific template, the site fails with Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')' in /site/libraries/gantry/gantry.php on line 248
The error reports to the following line: if ($template->params->get("cache-enabled", 0) == 1)
I can't figure out how to solve this error. Also to note, the feature in magebridge to set a template assignment works just fine when using a different template (non-gantry) as in default joomla
