Blank page with Joomla! 2.5 b1

Posted 12 years 10 months ago
    • Hello,

It seems this beta version breaks the admin part of Tachyon template (but I guess it's the same for all templates)
I may see the titles of each config page, but all is blank...No more options...Nothing...

    • Hi, we haven't updated anything for 2.5 yet. We can't guarantee that our products will operate correctly with 2.5 until we release 2.5 versions that have been tested.
    • The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

    • Hello,

Could you indicate a path to edit xml files (?) for the parameters of the templates manually ? Might be in database ?
I just need to on/off some positions at the moment, but need to test J! 2.5 b
      Thanks !

    • All the XML is in template-options.xml in the root directory of the template folder. There should be a 2.5 Gantry out shortly.

    • As far as I understand, it seems all values are there, but not the one I've saved.
Could you confirm and let me know where my values are stored ?
Also I tested with Joomla platform 11.4 and stills not work :(
      Thanks !

    • To be honest I don't know exactly what has changed between 1.7 and 2.5 so it's hard to offer advice. Once we have released the 2.5 version of Gantry we can provide support for 2.5, until then there aren't many answers I can provide as I don't have stable test environment to trouble shoot issues.

    • Ok I understand.
But could you tell me where are stored the values of parameters from the template ?
The template-options.xml does contains all parameters, but not values I've setup...
      Thanks !

    • In 1.7 those values are stored in the database, I believe there is a table called template_options where template parameters are stored.
