    1.7 menu parameter 'link image' not possible with roknavmen

    Posted 13 years 3 months ago
    • Hi there.
      When will roknavmenu integrate the 'Link Type Options' - 'link image' option that came with j1.7/2.5?
      In firebug, the <span> for a menu item just contain the menu text/title, no image, even if the parameter 'add menu title' is set to no, see image.

      This image is hidden for guests.
      Please log in or register to see it.

      With Joomlart's megamenu a new span class is made ('has-image') And you can have a unique image without text for each menu button.

      megamenu code:
      <span class="has-image" style="background-image:url(/xxx/images/1.png);">
      <span class="menu-title">Menu title</span>
      </span>

      Hope to see this option available for roknavmenu soon

      Since I make all templates from scratch with gantry, I'm no longer a RT member and I don't have the access to the roknavmenu forum anymore. Sorry if this post is made in the wrong forum.

      Thx for all your efforts

    • lol... you and me +1.

      I just switched to 2.5 and for the life of me, I can't seam to be able to simply link an image to a menu item. I read somewhere something about "boost" yet since the post was a couple of years old, I assumed it would have been resolved by now.

      I'd like to see a RokNavMenu with backend simplicity of configuration for such variables as on hover, focus, idle, normal, active, etc..., then again, at the moment I am a non-subscriber mooching off the free stuff ;-)

      Thanks Roket Theme!
