Extension Manager Discover Reveal Gantry

On my bajafishhunter.com site I had some malware issues. I believe I have resolved that, but I am experienceing a problem I have seen before but can't find the thread.
When I click discover on the extension manager, a gantry component is available. I know if I install it I get a menu item "com-gantry" that will appear under the components drop down on the back end. I know that is not how it is supposed to be.
I uninstalled gantry and downloaded a new package and installed it. Still happens.
What is going on and how do I fix it?

- After you do the install be sure to purge while you are in the Discover and or Update area.

- I did that. Doesn't change anything. The discovery still shows Gantry Component to be installed and if I was to click on it, it would put a menu item under the component drop down that says com-gantry
