Gantry Multiple Template Styling

Hello there. I have a Gantry template but I want to make some template over rides for some specific pages. I understand how to copy and assign the template and that's working great but I'm stuck with how to adjust the .less or .css files so that specific styling is only for a specific template. For example, I want the page heading or module headings to be a different colour.
I know I can assign that information at a page level but is what's the best way to do it at the template level?
Example page for template 1: www.skils.ca/dev/about-us.html
Example page for template 2: www.skils.ca/dev/resources.html (It's the same but really just a different colour pallet)
Would I be better just to upload it as an entirely different template under a different folder under /templates?

- You can always use Page class suffix for each page you want to customize. That way, you will have to add css definitions for each element on the page that you need to customize

I uploaded a new Metropolis to be used along with other RocketTheme themes which led me to believe that they would be added in "Alternative Layout" drop-down in module manager.. But it just kept showing "Default".. I was hoping it to list two templates. That would make super sense if they are automatically integrate without any hacking.
Am I overseeing something?

What you are trying to do is not possible and this is not specific to our templates. Something like this is not possible in Joomla in general - Check my services at: Mihha-Vision
