LESS compiler not compiling all CSS

I am making a website using the gantry template for Joomla.
When creating the website I have noticed that the LESS compiler wasn't working properly. I have used the debug function to check for any errors and have noticed that not all the CSS that should be present is actually there. I have changed the selectors that should have been included and they still are not being compiled like they should be.

- In which file did you put those additional css styles? Did you create custom less file?
