Gantry install issues in WinSrv 2008

Hello,
We are in the midst of installing Joomla 2.5.8 on a Windows server. So far all is well and we have the default Joomla installation complete.
Our next step is to install a Rockettheme template (ionsphere). Using the extension manager we are having issues with the install.
For example: Installing the Ionsphere Responsive bundle for 2.5 we see that the Gantry Library was installed successfully but all others were not. Anything that says "update" fails including: Gantry Component update, Gantry System Plugin update, Ionsphere Template update, etc
Of course this means that the template can not be found - assumingly becuase its not updating.
How do I fix the updating problem?

To add to my post:
I am able to upload a non-Rockettheme template without a problem.
This seems to be only an issue with Rockettheme components.

Here the same problem on Joomla 2.5.8.
Following error message comes up after trying to install the Gantry Framework.
When I install the bundle I get the same error.
Gantry Library installation was successful
Gantry Component installation failed The databaserow is empty.JTableAsset: : saving failed
Duplicate entry 'com_gantry' for key 'idx_asset_name' SQL=INSERT INTO `awest_assets` (`name`,`title`,`rules`,`parent_id`,`level`,`lft`,`rgt`) VALUES ('com_gantry','gantry','{}','1','1','5734','5735')Component installation: DB function rapporting no errors

- I manually deleted that db entry and the installation went okay.
