    gantry upg v3.2.22 to latest version? Mercado 1.6.8

    • Hi,

      I have Mercado 1.6.8 for joomla 2.5.
      In the template manager I see a red box with:
      Gantry v3.2.22
      Version 4.1.7 of the Gantry Framework is Available. Please download the latest version now.

      My question is, can I download and install the new version without loosing anything in the configuration in the template manager. Will nothing be altered in the current layout?
      I'm just concerned that things will shift or change.

      In theory you should not lose anything.

      The golden rule as always is to take a full backup first just in case you need to restore.

      I will definitely do a backup with akeeba before I do an upgrade.
