SOLVED Invalid extension update when updating to 4.1.10

- Just tried to update from 4.1.9 to 4.1.10 and got the "Invalid extension update" error.

  We're aware of this, so for the time being use Joomla's Manual Upload dialogue.

- Only happens on my Joomla 3.1 sites. The 2.5 sites are fine.

- Good question. What is the procedure for Joomla's Manual Update? The only thing that comes to mind is the Extension Manager.
