    • Hi there. I'm having a spot of bother with Kirigami - I was wondering if you could help?

I haven't yet checked throughout all browsers but there is a difference between how Firefox and Chrome render the site whilst using the responsive layout. As you know, with the responsive layout, when the browser width is reduced, you see the layout adapting to the changing width in a series of steps. In Firefox (I'm running Firefox ESR 17.0.6) the problem is that before you get any of the "steps" the browser width has to be reduced to a point where it is chopping off around 18px of width of the content, thus introducing a horizontal scroll bar. I am experiencing this with both my dev site and the Kirigami demo page ( demo.rockettheme.com/joomla/kirigami/ ) - to give you a reference, that almost complete chops off the down chevron to the right of "J! Stuff" in the top menu:

The glitch happens between approximately 1218px (where the right edge begins to get cropped and the horizontal scroll bar appears) and 1200px (where the template jumps to the next narrower step and the horizontal scroll bar disappears). Again between 977 and 959. Again at 785 to 768, Finally at 497 to 480. Beyond that the template becomes %age width based and single column so that's fine.

Can this be fixed? My client is now completely sold on both Kirigami and the responsive layout... I need to pull this out of the bag! :)

      Cheers!
