in almost all your templates tablet (portrait) view is the one spoiling the party......I guess to get the optimal view we need to compromise on content(editing out some content using hidden, visible classes).
I faced a situation where content is important and my client do not want to cut out the content........so I decided to make both tablet (portrait) and mobile layouts to be the same......how to achieve this. Thanks in advance.

I don't understand what "spoil the party" means... please be a lot more specific about the nature of the error. Please do a screengrab of your problem and annotate to make it clear.
Please post a URL to your site so we can look for you. Without a link to page where the problem is on your site it is quite hard for us to provide the best solution due to so many variables. We try to provide file names and line numbers for code changes and if changes have already been made then our advice may be incorrect.
